UPDATE: Lincoln & El Dorado Hills Registration Information


Dear Families,

We are excited to be opening campuses in El Dorado Hills and Lincoln this fall 2017!

Scholars Currently Enrolled in, or Currently on the Waitlist at, John Adams Academy – Roseville

Please be aware that any scholars who are currently enrolled in John Adams Academy – Roseville, and who would like to attend either of the new campuses, must submit new applications to those schools via SchoolMint. Currently enrolled scholars who are attending JAA-Roseville will receive an admissions preference at the new schools, but are not guaranteed a seat.

In addition, scholars who are currently on the waitlist at JAA-Roseville, and who would like to attend either of the new campuses, must submit new applications at those school via SchoolMint.

Applying to either, or both, of the new campuses will not impact a scholar's enrollment, or a scholar's position on the waitlist, at John Adams Academy – Roseville, .

Grades Served
John Adams Academy – El Dorado Hills is planned to serve grades TK – 7th and John Adams Academy – Lincoln is planned to serve grades K-6th in this upcoming school year.

Note: Grade levels offered will be contingent upon receiving a sufficient number of scholar applications per grade level.

Application Window – June 8 to June 15
As a public charter school, we are required to accept applications during an open enrollment application window to determine if we have more applications than seats available. The open enrollment window for both John Adams Academy – El Dorado Hills and John Adams Academy – Lincoln will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 to Thursday, June 15, 2017.

We will begin taking applications for enrollment at 1:00 am Thursday, June 8th and will accept applications until 11:00 pm on Thursday, June 15th.

If there are more applications than seats available, we are required to hold a random public drawing (lottery) to fill the seats. All interested persons must apply during the application window to be considered for a lottery. The application window is not first come first served. All applications received within the application window (June 8 – June 15) will be included in the lottery if a lottery is required.

Any applications submitted after the open enrollment window closes will go on the waitlist in the order received, behind those who participated in the lottery and received a spot on the waitlist.

Submitting an Application
We encourage parents to prepare for the application period by creating an account on SchoolMint in advance and ensuring that they have access to the website and all information in their SchoolMint account is accurate. Applicants can follow this link to access SchoolMint and create an account:


Once the application window opens on Thursday, June 8th, applicants will be able to log into their SchoolMint account, select their scholar and complete an application for John Adams Academy – El Dorado Hills, John Adams Academy – Lincoln, or both.

If needed, lotteries will be held separately for each new campus on either June 21 or June 22. A lottery for John Adams Academy – El Dorado Hills will be held at a location in El Dorado Hills and a lottery for John Adams Academy – Lincoln will be held at a location in Lincoln. Additional information regarding the date / time and location of the lotteries will be communicated to families after the application window is closed.

Applicants are not required to be present at a lottery in order to receive a seat. Anyone who is selected in the lottery to receive a seat for the upcoming 2017-18 school year will be notified via SchoolMint and phone call.
