John Adams Academy is guided by a leadership team under the direction of an active and dedicated board of trustees. This collaborative leadership team represents the Academy, makes decisions, and implements policies for the benefit of the Academy as a whole. Each also acts individually as an advocate and leader for his/her area of expertise, passion, and responsibility.
The JAA leadership model draws upon the strengths of our servant-leader paradigm; emphasizing persuasion and debate, infusing decision making with the wisdom and experience of multiple experts, providing for accessibility for teachers, staff, scholars and parents, and ensuring checks and balances both in decision making and in the implementation of our mission. This leadership model also provides for greater stability in the event of personnel changes, providing a pathway for continuity and consistency.
