Tell Your Story

What is the first thing you do when you meet someone new? You ask him to tell you his story. Often, we are anxious to tell our own.

What is a story? We all know intuitively and we can't get enough of them.  Myths and fairy tales, folktales, and novels, movies and sitcoms, blogs, and posts, they are intangible but powerful.  They explain how and why we are who we are.  Stories tell us what to value and how to live, they have determined the course of world history and within a community or family transport the beliefs and values of past generations into the future.  The stories of our own lives tell us who we are and infuse our personal existence with excitement, meaning, and mystery.

What brought you to John Adams Academy? Everyone has a story, please share yours with us as we celebrate this year's theme: TELL YOUR STORY!
